Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job responsibilities:

  • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent.
  • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
  • Research and resolve coverage questions.
  • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.
  • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… on our management software program
  • Handle all aspects of policy renewals which includes renewal reviews as well as remarketing with other
    carriers as needed
  • Process policy endorsements and annual audits
  • Review policies for accuracy and compare coverage, endorsements and exclusions for all renewal and
    new business
  • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed.

Professional and Personal Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, AMS360, Outlook and a calculator
  • Type quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Organized, structured, and punctual
  • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the commercial insurance market.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage, endorsements, and claims processes.
  • Proficiency in using AMS360 or similar insurance management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage client documentation, policies, and endorsements.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to manage client interactions and nurture key relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep track of important deadlines and legal regulations.
  • Willingness to support various agency functions as needed.
  • Experience in the construction insurance industry preferred.

Wages and Compensation:
